Water, surfaces and city finances
Council discussed a limited compliance path for existing cited areas while emphasizing that later expansions or new development would have to follow normal requirements. The workshop continued the city’s examination of unpaved parking and storage surfaces.

Kristin Poetek expressed concern about the reported number of license-plate-reader and traffic cameras, possible identification errors and increased municipal surveillance. Dana Eldridge thanked staff for their budget work and expressed concern that four new police officers might not be hired amid public-safety needs.
