The Sept. 10 state filing registers a 114,394-square-foot Comal ISD elementary school at 558 Rolling Creek Road, with an estimated $60.5 million construction cost and work scheduled from Oct. 23, 2026, to April 23, 2028.
The planned campus would put a new Comal ISD elementary school on Rolling Creek Road in Spring Branch, with completion scheduled for April 2028.
TDLR’s project page names Comal ISD as the owner and classifies the project as privately funded, on private land and for private use. Because the same filing identifies a public school district as owner, that classification is a clear follow-up question for Comal ISD and TDLR.
TDLR lists the project as registered and describes the work as new construction of an elementary school. With that status, Oct. 23 is the first construction checkpoint on the filing rather than a recorded start of work.
The filing identifies LPA Design Studios as the design firm. Capacity, grades served, an opening date and attendance boundaries are the next district details residents will need to understand who the campus will serve.
