The official Aug. 18 agenda lists a park survey review and possible action on remaining Parks Fund money without stating the balance or spending options.

Bulverde’s parks board will review the results of a Community Park improvement survey Tuesday and may decide how to use money still held in the city’s Parks Fund.

The two items put residents’ park priorities and an unspecified pool of public money at the center of the Aug. 18 meeting. The posted agenda does not include the survey findings, the fund balance or a list of possible projects.

The choice remains at the proposal stage: the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is scheduled to discuss the survey and may act on use of the remaining funds. The agenda does not identify a recommended project or dollar amount.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Bulverde City Hall Council Chamber, 30360 Cougar Bend. The board will also elect a chair and vice chair, review whether to continue its quarterly Front Porch News article and receive a city update from the public works director.
