Three Veramendi Infrastructure Units Reach ‘Inspection Complete’

The filings cover work at three New Braunfels intersections and retain a Sept. 9 projected completion date.

TDLR now lists Veramendi Precinct 4 Units 1, 2 and 3 as Inspection Complete, covering $4.99 million in filed street, drainage and utility work.

The three filings cover work at Word Parkway and Hill Country Drive, Primaria Street and Buttonwood Drive, and Primaria Street and Wellowood Road in New Braunfels.

Unit 1 carries the largest filed estimate at $2.79 million. Its scope includes site work, streets, drainage, water, wastewater and electric infrastructure at Word Parkway and Hill Country Drive. TDLR classifies the work as privately funded new construction on private land.

The other two records describe the same mix of transportation, drainage and utility work. Unit 2 lists an estimated $1.16 million at Primaria Street and Buttonwood Drive, while Unit 3 lists $1.04 million at Primaria Street and Wellowood Road.

All three filings retain April 7, 2025 as the construction start and Sept. 9, 2026 as the projected completion date. TDLR presents each record as an Architectural Barriers Project Details page and explains that a registered accessibility specialist performs the required inspection.

The next useful comparison is between this state accessibility milestone and the city’s construction records for the three intersections. This update continues Comal.News’ original Veramendi filing report and the later Unit 1 review update.
