For drivers through Fair Oaks Ranch, the next documented milestone is spring 2027 letting for the I-10 turnaround; the city says most broader widening is likely 10 years away or more.
The statewide total consists of $95 billion in projected project funding from existing state and federal revenue sources plus $43 billion for development and routine maintenance. The governor’s Aug. 26 announcement says the Texas Transportation Commission approved the 2027 Unified Transportation Program in August.
The city’s corridor report also describes work already delivered on FM 3351. Fair Oaks Ranch says the $12.7 million Cibolo Creek bridge project is substantially complete and that the elevated crossing maintained access across the creek during July flooding.
The funded turnaround project would improve the crossing over I-10 and adjust lanes along FM 3351 to just beyond Old Fredericksburg Road and the Camp Bullis south entrance. Letting opens construction bidding; completion comes later.
