The Selma Municipal Development District board will hold a public hearing and may adopt its fiscal 2027 budget Thursday.
The decision would set the district’s budget for Nov. 1, 2026, through Oct. 31, 2027. The hearing gives residents a public meeting at which to follow the proposal before the board’s possible action.
The one-page meeting notice schedules discussion and possible action on both the budget and a resolution adopting it. It does not list total revenue, total spending, planned use of fund balance or the projects that would receive district money.
Before the budget hearing, the board’s order of business includes discussion and possible action on minutes from its Nov. 13, 2025 meeting. That item is separate from the budget proposal.
The board will convene at 6:20 p.m. Thursday at Selma City Hall, 9375 Corporate Drive. The notice asks anyone needing an accessibility accommodation to call 210-651-6661 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
The next decisive records will be the adopted resolution or meeting minutes showing whether the board approved the proposal and whether it changed. Residents can use the official agenda to verify the time, location and action scheduled before attending.
