Selma City Council is scheduled to consider the fiscal 2026-27 operating budget, a fire-station remodel amendment, a wastewater fee change and a Wiederstein Road agreement with Schertz on Sept. 10.
Selma residents and customers could see changes in city spending, fire-station construction, wastewater charges and work on Wiederstein Road.
The evening’s business spans four daily-life systems: city finances, emergency services, utility bills and a road link with neighboring Schertz.
Budget, Fire Station and Wastewater
The Sept. 10 agenda has eight numbered items after routine opening business. The City of Selma Agenda Center identifies the event as a regular council meeting and public hearing.
The agenda calls for a public hearing and possible roll-call vote on the fiscal 2026-27 annual operating budget. Council may amend the budget to account for the fire station remodel construction project. Both matters remain proposals until council acts.

Minutes, November Calendar and Municipal Court
Council may approve the Aug. 13 meeting minutes. Council may cancel its Nov. 12 regular meeting. Council may appoint Frank Dickson as municipal court prosecutor through June 30, 2027.

Council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Selma City Hall, 9375 Corporate Drive. Residents may address the mayor and council during Citizens to Be Heard, with remarks limited to three minutes per speaker.
The agenda says council cannot act on an issue raised solely during that public-comment period. The notice allows council to enter executive session under listed state-law provisions when authorized, but says no action may be taken there.
