New Braunfels City Council is scheduled to consider a three-year Microsoft enterprise agreement with Software One totaling $925,178.79 on Sept. 28.
City staff says the existing three-year agreement is expiring and recommends another enterprise agreement to manage Microsoft licenses and purchases. The staff report says the package covers Office 365, desktop and server operating systems, Visio and technical support.
The pricing sheet lists coverage from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2029. Its largest first-year line is $254,796.85 for 595 Microsoft 365 G3 government subscriptions; other lines cover Exchange Online, Intune, Windows Server, Teams Rooms, Power BI, Project and Visio products.
The Sept. 28 agenda places Item 26-1096 on the consent agenda, where listed items may be approved together unless a councilmember or resident asks to pull one for separate consideration.
