The New Braunfels Public Library has posted a 6 p.m. closing for Wednesday, Nov. 25, and all-day closure notices for Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27.
The Wednesday notice runs from 6 to 8 p.m.; the Thursday and Friday notices mark their events as all day. These are advance notices for Thanksgiving week, not closures in effect today.
Residents planning to use the Main Library during Thanksgiving week should account for the posted early closing and two all-day closures. The library calendar places the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday library notices at the Main Library Meeting Room. A separate Friday notice titled “Library & Community Center Closed” is placed at the Westside Library Meeting Room.
The Friday community-center notice does not name the center in its text or give a reopening time. Before making a trip after the holiday, readers can check the library’s Friday closure notice for the posted date and watch the library calendar for any updated hours.
