Guadalupe River State Park is scheduled to close from 8 p.m. Nov. 20 until noon Nov. 24, with entry limited to permitted hunters during those dates.
Visitors planning a trip to Guadalupe River State Park during that period need to choose another time unless they are permitted hunters. The notice describes a future closure; it does not say the park is closed now.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's park alert also lists a separate closure from 8 p.m. Jan. 11 until noon Jan. 15. It says only permitted hunters may enter on the listed closure dates.
For a visit near either closure, check the park's official alert again before leaving. That notice is the direct place to verify the dates and any changes to the posted schedule.
