Dietz Elkhorn Road will close to through traffic between Noble Lark Road and Fair Oaks Parkway from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, for street maintenance, Fair Oaks Ranch says.
Drivers should follow the posted detour and allow extra travel time. The closure covers an 11-hour work window, though the city says the schedule depends on weather.
People living inside the closure limits may encounter periods when they cannot enter or leave individual properties. The city suggests parking a vehicle at Van Raub Elementary School before work begins.
City staff can help residents travel through the work zone to reach those vehicles when conditions allow. The notice directs residents who need another accommodation to contact the city maintenance supervisor.
Emergency access will remain available throughout the project, according to the city. The work is part of Fair Oaks Ranch’s annual street-maintenance program.
