Seven Comal County permit records filed Oct. 30 show two applications marked “Received” and five marked “Pay Fee(s).”

The county’s permit portal identifies the application type, named location and current stage for each record. A “Received” entry records a submitted filing; “Pay Fee(s)” identifies a fee stage. Neither label by itself establishes that a permit was approved or that work began.

The portal lists permit 120139 as “Received,” a filing stage.

Residents in Copper Ridge can track two separate septic filings at different portal stages. Permit 120139, listed for Phase 3B, is marked “Received.” Permit 120136, listed for Unit 1, is marked “Pay Fee(s).” The shared place name does not make them one application.

The other “Received” entry is PIPROW permit 109673 in Country Hills North. The four remaining fee-stage entries are septic permits in Mystic Shores, Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard, Woodlands of Garden Ridge and Wild Wind Park. The table gives the portal’s Oct. 30 status for each permit number; it does not describe a permit decision.

Statuses are transcribed from the individual county portal records.

A portal status tells a reader where an application appears in the county’s process, not what construction is occurring on a lot. The next useful check is the status of each numbered record in the county permit portal, along with any later document that establishes the scope or disposition of the work.
