New Braunfels approved a $223,160 modular building for its Parks Operations Division, adding a new facility purchase to the city’s parks spending.
The City Council authorized the expenditure July 27 and identified Mobile Modular Management Corporation as the vendor. The final meeting minutes do not state the building’s dimensions, where it will be placed, when it will arrive or which city fund will cover the purchase.
Those minutes provide the first clear public receipt for the council’s action: the purchase passed unanimously after Councilmember Nikki Shaw pulled it from the consent agenda for individual consideration.

Mayor Pro Tem Michael Capizzi then moved to approve the expenditure, Councilmember Lawrence Spradley seconded the motion, and the council approved it unanimously.
