Residents who planned to visit 9400 Municipal Parkway next Tuesday should stay home: the scheduled 6 p.m. session will not take place.
Garden Ridge’s official meeting record now labels the Aug. 18 Water Commission session canceled and includes a Notice of Cancellation published Aug. 11.
The record does not give a reason for the cancellation or identify a replacement date. Although it retains a name for an Aug. 18 agenda, the only published file listed is the cancellation notice.
The September entry is a calendar posting, not proof that any item planned for August will carry over. It lists the commission’s usual third-Tuesday meeting time and no meeting documents.
The cancellation also leaves residents without a published Water Commission agenda to review for the Aug. 18 date. The city’s calendar identifies Sept. 15 as the next regular date, but that entry currently contains no agenda or supporting documents.
