Residents who planned to visit 9400 Municipal Parkway on Wednesday evening should stay home: Garden Ridge has canceled the 6 p.m. Planning and Zoning Commission session.
The city’s official meeting record labels the Aug. 12 event “Planning and Zoning Commission-CANCELLED.” It also includes a separate cancellation notice among the files published for the event.
The original listing placed the session at Garden Ridge City Hall and described the commission’s regular schedule as the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
The cancellation notice was published Aug. 3. The public record does not state why the meeting was called off or identify a replacement date.
Although the event record indicates that an agenda exists, no agenda file is attached to the preserved record. That means the available document does not establish what business, if any, commissioners would have considered.
The portal also shows no meeting media or livestream for the canceled event. Residents waiting on a planning or zoning matter will need a later city posting to learn when commission business resumes.
