Mayfair EA-3 moved into a two-year warranty period on June 4; its developer must correct nonconforming work identified by annual inspections within 30 days, and Comal County will decide Sept. 3 whether to release Construction Bond SUR4000762.
The certificate says the improvements are outside New Braunfels city limits and will not be accepted for city use or maintenance, so releasing the construction bond would not make them city-maintained infrastructure.
The county agenda says earthwork, site work, water and wastewater construction is complete on Lots 1R, 2R and 3 in Block 81. Releasing the associated surety remains a proposal until commissioners act.
The June 4 document starts annual warranty inspections during the two-year period and requires correction of identified nonconforming work within 30 days. Its project description focuses on wastewater utility work, while the county agenda groups earthwork, site work, water and wastewater under the proposed release.
Commissioners are scheduled to meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, in the Commissioners Courtroom at 100 Main Plaza in New Braunfels. The official agenda includes the Mayfair item, meeting location and a three-minute citizen-comment limit. The recorded vote and final bond disposition are the next results to check.
