The Comal Appraisal District added signed documents titled “Certification of Unopposed Candidates” and “Order of Cancellation of General Election” to its Nov. 3 board-election page.
Comal County voters now have an official notice that the appraisal-district board election has a cancellation order, rather than only the earlier election-order materials.
The district’s page, modified Sept. 3, continues to list the earlier candidate-qualification notice, filing-deadline notice and election order alongside the new certification and cancellation links. Those earlier records remain listed under the same November 3, 2026 election heading. The preserved Comal Appraisal District election record provides the source trail for each document.
The same page explains that the appraisal district has a nine-member board: five directors are appointed by participating taxing units, three are elected by county voters and the county assessor-collector serves as an ex officio director.
The next checks are the signed documents for the covered candidate names and seats, followed by county sample-ballot materials showing how the change will appear to voters.
