Schertz administratively approved the WHHT Development site plan for a proposed phased, approximately 200,000-square-foot office-warehouse project at 18027 and 18039 Sunrise Way.
The proposed project would place new office-warehouse space on Sunrise Way in an area zoned for General Business-II and Light Manufacturing.
The city describes the development as proposed and phased. Its current-projects report lists the site plan among applications administratively approved from Aug. 26 through Sept. 29.
The same report lists an administratively approved final plat for the Wood Subdivision, a separate 2.7-acre property zoned for light manufacturing.
The update separates new filings from completed administrative reviews. It says no new site plan applications were submitted during the same Aug. 26-to-Sept. 29 period, while WHHT appears under projects already approved administratively.
The commission is not being asked to vote on WHHT on Oct. 7. The city agenda places the status report under information available in the packet and says no discussion will occur.
The Oct. 7 Planning and Zoning Commission packet carries the update in an information-only section with no discussion scheduled. The next verifiable movement would be a building permit, revised site plan or another project filing tied to either Sunrise Way address.
