New Braunfels’ $5.07M Well 6 Project Clears State Review

The current TDLR record lists the city-owned, $5.07 million Well 6 pump-station project at 14 Moss Rock Drive as Review Complete.

The project is planned water-system infrastructure for New Braunfels customers, with construction filed from August 2027 through May 2028.

The project would add a pump station with piping, electrical equipment and chemical-feed equipment. TDLR also describes a new pump building of approximately 770 square feet, placing a defined piece of city water infrastructure at the center of the filing.

The record classifies the project as new construction involving public funds, public land or a federally funded roadway project. It identifies the City of New Braunfels as owner and Freese and Nichols Inc. as the design firm.

Review Complete is the current status on TDLR’s Architectural Barriers Project Details page. The same page tells project owners to obtain an inspection from a registered accessibility specialist and sets timing requirements tied to construction completion.

City project records will supply the next measurable step: design completion, procurement or a construction contract. This status change continues Comal.News’ earlier report on the original Well 6 registration.
