The New Braunfels Train Show is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center, 375 S. Castell Ave. The second day gives visitors a six-hour window to see the show.
Families can see model railroad displays and children can run trains on a junior engineer layout during Sunday's show. The city listing says vendors from Texas and elsewhere will offer railroad and model railroad merchandise to buy, sell or swap.

The New Braunfels Railroad Museum sponsors the event. The city describes it as one of two train shows the museum sponsors each year, with shows in April and October. Sunday's hours end an hour earlier than Saturday's listed 5 p.m. closing time.
Before heading downtown, visitors can check the city's event listing for the posted schedule, address and activity description. The listing gives no admission price, so visitors should verify any cost before going.
