Three Special-Use Requests Get September Hearing Dates

The city feed lists requests at 283 IH-35 South, 839 Oasis and 141 Rueckle Road without treating any of them as approved.

The New Braunfels city feed lists special-use requests at 283 IH-35 South, 839 Oasis and 141 Rueckle Road for a Sept. 1 Planning Commission date and a Sept. 28 City Council first-reading date.

Nearby residents have two dates to watch for each request: Planning Commission on Sept. 1 and a listed City Council first reading on Sept. 28.

The three entries use separate city case numbers. CS26-0278 is tied to 283 IH-35 South, SUP26-261 to 839 Oasis and SUP26-256 to 141 Rueckle Road. Those identifiers give residents a precise way to distinguish the requests as additional city records become available.

Each entry describes a special-use permit request. The procedural language matters: a request and scheduled hearing are not an approval, and a listed first reading is not final action. The feed establishes the addresses, case numbers and dates without resolving what conditions or final decisions may follow.

What residents should track

The next useful records will be the case materials explaining the proposed uses, staff recommendations, maps and any operating conditions. Residents should use the exact case number for their nearby property when checking city postings or addressing the Planning Commission.

After Sept. 1, the Planning Commission’s recommendation will show whether each request advances as filed, advances with conditions or does not receive support. The Sept. 28 entries describe first readings, so another record would still be needed to establish final City Council action.
