Three NBU Filings Put Sewer and Water Projects Into City Review

City records filed Aug. 26–27 give utility customers three project names, locations, permit numbers and review stages to track.

From the source record

The city portal lists a Rio interceptor new-build filing, Gruene wastewater electrical review and a Solms pump-station plan change.
City of New Braunfels
Permit records filed Aug. 26 and Aug. 27 establish the three current review steps.

Three active city permit entries cover NBU work at the Rio Drive interceptor, Gruene wastewater system and Solms pump station and ground storage tank.

The filings mark current review steps for wastewater and water infrastructure at three New Braunfels locations, giving utility customers concrete projects and permit numbers to track. The entries span submitted and under-review statuses and three different permit types rather than a shared construction milestone.

At 470 Rio Drive, commercial new-build filing CP2026-737 names the New Braunfels Utilities I-35 Interceptor Upgrade and Rio Bar Screen. It was filed Aug. 26 and appears as submitted. The portal also carries an Aug. 5 floodplain-development filing for the same named project.

At 1299 Gruene Road, electrical filing EL2026-2183 names an NBU Gruene wastewater and inverter siphon improvement. Filed Aug. 27, it appears under review and identifies Advanced Electrical Services as the electrical contractor. This entry is specifically a commercial electrical filing, not the full project permit history.

At 5802U Interstate 35 South, CP2026-739 names the NBU Solms Pump Station and Ground Storage Tank. The Aug. 27 entry is submitted as a commercial post-approval plan change. Later city status entries and NBU project records can show the next milestone, the scope of that change and any customer-facing schedule.
