Five city inspection requests filed Aug. 12–14 mark activity at New Braunfels High School and Canyon High School, giving families and staff new project checkpoints to follow.

Three requests tied to New Braunfels High School Phase 2A carry a closed status. Two Aug. 14 requests whose scopes name Canyon High School renovations and drainage upgrades are marked inspection due.

These are inspection records, not declarations that either full project is complete. Their usefulness is narrower: they show that named work has reached a city inspection-request stage and provide identifiers for tracking the next recorded status.

What inspection activity do the city records show at the two high schools?

The city portal shows three closed inspection requests tied to New Braunfels High School Phase 2A and two inspection-due requests whose scopes name Canyon High School renovations and drainage upgrades.

BRQ2026-12655 was filed Aug. 12 and carries an Aug. 13 status date. BRQ2026-12698 and BRQ2026-12740 were filed Aug. 13 and carry Aug. 14 status dates. All three name New Braunfels High School Phase 2A at 2551 Loop 337 and are labeled closed.

BRQ2026-12784 and BRQ2026-12788 were filed Aug. 14. Their scopes name Canyon High School drainage upgrades and renovations, respectively, and the portal marks both inspection due.

Families and staff can track the five inspection requests under BRQ2026-12655, BRQ2026-12698, BRQ2026-12740, BRQ2026-12784 and BRQ2026-12788.

The Project Questions Behind the Status Labels

What work was inspected under the three New Braunfels High School requests? The answer would show what each closed request covered without turning an inspection entry into a claim about the full Phase 2A project.

When are the two Canyon High School inspections scheduled? District construction schedules are also needed to answer the larger question: How do these inspections fit each project’s construction schedule?
