The district’s Sept. 4 news listing identifies the new Performing Arts Center and Dragon Stadium as the Phase 2 facilities being celebrated.

The district announcement lists a 5:30 p.m. start. A separate BoardBook posting describes the event as a notice of possible trustee quorum at Long Creek High School.

Families can check the Sept. 4 district news listing for the facilities and ceremony time, then compare it with the BoardBook posting that gives the event its possible-quorum status.

Why this is not a board meeting

Trustees may attend the ceremony, but the district has not scheduled board business there. The public agenda contains no action items, so the notice establishes neither a proposed vote nor a trustee decision.

The ceremony supplies a visible project milestone; the next useful record will be a district update showing what opened and whether additional Phase 2 work remains. Readers can use the BoardBook notice to verify the event’s procedural status and scheduled start.
