Elementary 21 price decision
At its Oct. 22 meeting, the Comal ISD board approved its consent agenda as amended, with the Elementary 21 guaranteed maximum price item removed, 6-0. The price item was postponed at the administration's request for more data. A later board record will show when the proposal returns.
Life Bridges East naming
The board's 6-0 naming decision honors former trustee Dan Krueger. It names the building planned to house the new Life Bridges East facility; the retained outcome does not supply a separate construction-price decision for that facility.
An earlier Schertz decision
In a separate action on Oct. 13, Schertz City Council approved a 4% raise for City Manager Steve Williams and a one-year contract extension following his annual evaluation, 7-0. That decision occurred before the Oct. 18–24 week covered by the Comal ISD actions above. Readers can inspect the Schertz council meeting video for that earlier action.
