Four Comal County Edwards Aquifer Protection Plan applications have public comment deadlines from Oct. 19 through Nov. 9, according to TCEQ's under-review index. Nearby residents can use the TCEQ index to identify each plan and its listed comment deadline before the relevant window closes.

TCEQ's index labels this page “Applications Under Review.” A Comal.News count of the official entries finds four plans in Comal County with the deadlines below. These are application and comment-period listings; their names should not be read as precise site descriptions.

Comal County Edwards Aquifer Protection Plan applications and comment deadlines listed by TCEQ as of Oct. 15, 2026.

Each row is transcribed from the linked TCEQ under-review index; the application IDs distinguish the entries. The index is the source for every plan name and deadline.

The first deadline: Oct. 19

The first listed deadline is Oct. 19 for Veramendi Precinct 27 Units 2 & 3. TCEQ lists two application IDs for this plan name, 13002346 and 13002347. Residents looking up this entry should use those identifiers alongside the plan name in the official index.

Two entries close Nov. 2

Kinder West Units 11, 12, 13, application 13002349, has a listed Nov. 2 comment deadline. Veramendi Parkway Town Center, application 13002351, has the same deadline. The index identifies each by its plan name; those labels alone do not establish a street address or the detailed work proposed in an application.

The last listed deadline: Nov. 9

Veramendi Precinct 16 Unit 2, application 13002354, has a listed Nov. 9 comment deadline. Its later date gives residents more time to locate the entry and submit a comment through TCEQ's stated process.

How to check and comment

TCEQ says comments may be filed within 30 days after an application is provided to affected jurisdictions. The agency's index lists the deadline for each entry and gives its San Antonio regional office number, (210) 490-3096, along with an EAPP email contact. Readers can check the plan name and application ID in the TCEQ index, then use the contact instructions there for the entry that concerns them.

The next verification point is the Oct. 19 deadline for Veramendi Precinct 27 Units 2 & 3, followed by the Nov. 2 and Nov. 9 deadlines. Residents can inspect the dated entries on TCEQ's under-review page; subsequent application documents or an updated agency listing will establish what happens next for each plan.
