Early voting for the Nov. 3 election begins Monday, Oct. 19, at six Comal County locations. Residents can choose from a New Braunfels main office and five temporary branch sites listed in the county's early-voting schedule.
Comal County voters have five weekday sessions at 8 a.m.–5 p.m. before longer Saturday and final-week hours; applications for a ballot by mail must be received by close of business Oct. 23. All six sites are scheduled for 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24; noon–6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25; and 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 26–30.
The main site is the Comal County Elections Office, 396 N. Seguin Ave. in New Braunfels. The five branches are Mammen Family Public Library, Room A, 131 Bulverde Crossing in Bulverde; the JP #2 Courtroom at the Comal County Bulverde Annex, 30470 Cougar Bend; the Training Room, Suite 1400, at the Church Hill Annex, 1345 Church Hill Drive in New Braunfels; the Large Room at St Francis by the Lake Episcopal Church, 121 Spring Mountain Dr. in Canyon Lake; and the Municipal Court Room at Garden Ridge City Hall, 9400 Municipal Parkway.
The county says emergency and limited ballots are available only at the main Elections Office. Mail-ballot applications go to Early Voting Clerk Bobbie Koepp at that same address; the Oct. 23 deadline is for receipt, not mailing. Before making a trip, voters can check the county’s location-and-hours notice for the named room and the day’s hours.
