The Aug. 10 registration lists the project address, filed scope, estimated cost, planned dates and current status.

A Texas registration filed Aug. 10 lists a $2.5 million, privately funded 5,000-square-foot Tex-Mix office project at 5250 Old Hwy 81, with construction scheduled from Sept. 1, 2026, to May 1, 2027.

Tex-Mix employees are the people directly affected: if built as filed, they would work from a new 5,000-square-foot company office in Comal County, outside New Braunfels city limits.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project page names Tex-Mix Concrete as the owner. It classifies the work as privately funded new construction on private land and lists the current status as “Project Registered.”

The Construction Calendar

The filed schedule gives employees one clear milestone to watch: construction is listed to begin Sept. 1 and run through May 1. Those dates describe the owner’s schedule at registration, before the listed start date arrives.

The registration identifies WITH. as the design firm. It also says the building owner must obtain an accessibility inspection no later than one year after construction is completed and submit a written inspection request within 30 calendar days after completion.

The Next Local Check

A Comal County permit filing for 5250 Old Hwy 81 would provide the next local checkpoint, including the county-reviewed building or site scope and the project’s approval stage.

One consequential question remains: What operations will Tex-Mix base at the office, and how many employees will use it? An answer from the company, paired with the county permit file, would show the project’s workforce scale and whether its registered construction calendar remains current.
