Comal County commissioners are scheduled to decide Oct. 29 whether to approve four scored lists of firms for future engineering, architecture, geotechnical and surveying work. The proposals appear as items 9–12 on the court's posted agenda.

The posted records identify four separate requests for qualifications, numbered 2026-530, 2026-540, 2026-550 and 2026-560. Approval would establish prequalified pools for four professional services used in county projects. The agenda proposes approval of the pools; it does not record an Oct. 29 decision.

Prequalification would put firms on a pool for future consideration; the scheduled action is approval of the lists, not a named project contract award.

What happens next

The Oct. 29 Commissioners Court meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom, 100 Main Plaza, New Braunfels. The next official check is the Oct. 29 court action and its minutes, which will show whether the proposed pools were approved or changed. The posted agenda identifies items 9–12 for readers following the decision.
