The proposal would replace Canyon Lake Island Lot 6 with Fisherman’s Knotts Lots 1 and 2, subject to a minimum-lot-size variance and final approval by Comal County commissioners.
Property owners Justice W. and Janelle L. Edge must wait for the Sept. 3 vote on their request.
If approved, the two proposed lots would use a state-certified public water system and separate on-site sewage facilities. The decision therefore covers both the division of the property and how wastewater would be handled on each lot.
The county engineer’s Aug. 4 summary says the plat application meets final-approval requirements if Commissioners Court grants the variance. The filing describes the request as a vacate-and-replat of existing Lot 6.
Commissioners Court will meet at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3 in the courtroom at 100 Main Plaza in New Braunfels. The county agenda allows three-minute public comments on specific agenda items or other matters of public interest.
The replat and variance remain proposals. The recorded vote after the meeting will establish whether the county approves them.
